Important game to mention about took place in Okayama. Sixth ranked Okayama (4-5) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Shizuoka (4-4) 80-78 on Saturday evening. American center Nigel Spikes (208-89, college: Marshall, agency: HMS) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: FAU) chipped in 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Okayama's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Roschon Prince (198-94, college: Detroit Mercy) with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Ryota Kondo (190-96) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Shizuoka players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Okayama went down to eighth position due to points difference. Shizuoka lost fourth consecutive game. Shizuoka at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Saitama Bron..
