There was no surprise when 13th ranked Vicenza (1-4) was defeated on the road by leader Bolzano BK (4-0) 72-62 on Saturday. Bolzano BK dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Vicenza's 34. The best player for the winners was Croatian center Katarina Trehub (191-97) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Erika Degiovanni chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Bolzano BK players scored in double figures. Bolzano BK's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
