Regular Season Round 3: Fos-Provence - Lille 74-79

Very predictable result in Fos-sur-Mer where Lille Metropole (2-1) beat Provence Basket (0-3) 79-74 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Burkinabe Jean-Victor Traore (203-85) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Swiss point guard Jonathan Kazadi (195-91) chipped in 22 points. Five Lille Metropole players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivorian-American swingman Charles Abouo (196-89, college: BYU) who recorded 22 points and American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) added 15 points respectively. Provence Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Lille Metropole will face Sluc Nancy (#6) at home in the next round. Provence Basket will play against Quimper UJAP (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
