Regular Season Round 5: Zwolle - Den Bosch 93-80

Date: October 27, 2019
The game between second ranked Den Bosch (4-2) and fifth ranked Zwolle (4-1) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Den Bosch was defeated by Zwolle in Zwolle 80-93. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Den Bosch. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Zwolle looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Noah Dahlman (202-89, college: Wofford) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Martez Walker (195-95, college: Oakland) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. American-Italian swingman Henry Caruso (193-95, college: Santa Clara) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American guard Elijah Wilson (193-94, college: Coastal, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 27 points in the effort for Den Bosch. Den Bosch's coach Jean-Marc Jaumin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Rotterdam. Den Bosch at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Groningen. Zwolle is looking forward to face Amsterdam (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Den Bosch will play against the league's leader Leiden (#1) and is hoping to win this game.
