The most shocking disappointment of round 4 was a home defeat of 4th ranked Lucca (2-2) to fifth ranked Schio (3-1) 71-61 in the game for the fourth place. Schio made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Martina Crippa (178-89, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 rebounds and New Zealand-British Jillian Harmon (186-87, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Schio players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Chucky Jeffery (178-91, college: Colorado) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Ghanian-American forward Batabe Zempare (178-94, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: LBM Management) scored 14 points. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place. Lucca at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Schio are looking forward to face Vigarano (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Lucca will play against Battipaglia (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
