Very important is a road loss of third ranked Orange Vikings (5-8) against sixth ranked Bambitious N. (3-10) on Sunday night. Visiting Orange Vikings were defeated by Bambitious N. in Nara 83-73. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orange Vikings. Bambitious N. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and American-Puerto Rican center Chris Brady (208-95, college: Monmouth) added 19 points and 18 rebounds respectively for Orange Vikings in the defeat. Bambitious N. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fukuoka R. and Yamagata. Loser Orange Vikings dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Ibaraki R.. Bambitious N. will meet at home league's leader Dragonflies in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Orange Vikings will play against Tokyo EX and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
