The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Moncalieri as it allowed them to take a leadership position in A2. Moncalieri smashed 7th ranked Carugate at home 68-46. Moncalieri forced 20 Carugate turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Valeria Trucco (190-99) who scored 10 points and 9 rebounds.
