There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Senigallia (2-4) won against on the road higher ranked Chieti (2-4) 97-86 on Sunday. Senigallia dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Chieti's 26 and made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Chieti 47-22 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Mirco Pierantoni (202-81) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds.
