Regular Season Round 6: Avellino - Roma Luiss 61-73

There was no surprise when 15th ranked Avellino (1-5) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Roma Luiss (4-2) 73-61 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was power forward Francesco Infante (202-92) who scored 19 points. Point guard Marco Pasqualin (178-97) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Domenico Marzaioli (190-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who recorded 10 points and Estonian point guard Hugo Erkmaa (194-99) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Roma Luiss moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Vigevano and Lecco. Loser Avellino dropped to the fourteenth position with five games lost. Roma Luiss' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Roma Palestrina.
