Regular Season Round 7: Peja - Bashkimi 73-76

Another exciting game for Bashkimi (4-2) which played on the court of Peja (3-3). Fifth ranked Bashkimi eked out just a narrow 3-points road win over Peja 76-73. Bashkimi made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Peja turnovers. It was a great evening for American point guard Stevie Clark (180-94, college: LSUS) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eleven free throws !!!). His fellow American import guard Corey Raley-Ross (191-91, college: Buffalo) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Croatian forward Henrik Sirko (198-93) responded with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Jordan Martin (203-93, college: Missouri St.) scored 8 points and 16 rebounds. Bashkimi moved-up to third place, which they share with Ylli. Peja at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. Bashkimi will play against league's leader Prishtina at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Peja will play against Xhebrailat (#3) in Therande and hopes to get back on the winning track.
