Rather expected game when 9th ranked Cestestica Aquila (1-4) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Cecina (4-2) 81-65 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Flavio Gay (184-98) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Vincenzo Guaiana (192-0) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Cecina's coach Roberto Russo used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) who recorded 17 points and 4 assists and naturalized Nigerian forward Obinna Nwokoye (198-95, agency: Players Group) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively.
