Regular Season Round 5: Team4Q - Hogsbo 73-107

The game in Helsingborg supposed to be also quite interesting. Leader Hogsbo (5-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Team4Q (1-3). Hogsbo smashed Team4Q 107-73 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Hogsbo. Team4Q was better in fourth quarter 29-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Team4Q 48-31 including 37 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Croatian forward Toni Vitali (203-91) chipped in 24 points and 7 rebounds. Hogsbo's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) produced 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and naturalized Cypriot point guard Sasha Vural (185-88) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Hogsbo. They keep a position of league leader. Newly promoted Team4Q keeps the seventh place with three games lost. Hogsbo will face Bankeryds (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Team4Q's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Helsingborg to the arena Helsingborg.
