There was no surprise in Poznan where 9th ranked Enea AZS P. (1-3) was crushed by second ranked Artego Bydg. (4-1) 86-46 on Sunday. Artego Bydg. dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Enea AZS P.'s 24. Artego Bydg. forced 20 Enea AZS P. turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Artego Bydg. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Enea AZS P.'s players. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian power forward Laura Miskiniene (190-92) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Enea AZS P.'s coach Elmedin Omanic gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Artego Bydg. maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Arka Gdynia, which they share with CCC Polkowice. Loser Enea AZS P. keeps the ninth position with three games lost. Artego Bydg. will face Widzew (#10) in Lodz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Enea AZS P. will play on the road against Katarzynki in Torun and hope to win that game.
