Very important is a road loss of Canberra Capitals (2-2) against Sydney Uni Flames (1-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Canberra Capitals were defeated by Sydney Uni Flames in a tough game in Sydney 75-81. It was an exceptional evening for the former international swingman Alice Kunek (187-91) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Tahlia Tupaea (174-97) accounted for 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Forward Keely Froling (188-96, college: SMU) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian guard Kia Nurse (183-96, college: Connecticut) added 21 points respectively for Canberra Capitals in the defeat. Sydney Uni Flames will again play against Canberra Capitals (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Canberra Capitals will have a break next round.
