The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Pistons' (2-2) road victory over bottom-ranked Pacers (0-3) in Indianapolis 96-94 on Monday. Pistons shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Christian Wood (208-95, college: UNLV, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Pistons' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and guard Malcolm Brogdon (196-92, college: Virginia) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists in the effort for Pacers. Five Pistons and four Pacers players scored in double figures. Pistons moved-up to second place, which they share with Portland TB and Phoenix Suns. Loser Pacers still closes the standings with three games lost.
