This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-best Trouville (3-2) to sixth ranked Malvin (3-1) 73-72 on Tuesday evening. Point guard Marcos Cabot (180-89) contributed with 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Alex Lopez (186-93) replied with 20 points and naturalized Italian point guard Marcos Marotta (180-89) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Trouville. Trouville's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Malvin have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Aguada. Trouville at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Hebraica and Bigua. Malvin's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Capitol.
