Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Etoile Angers (7-0) beat on the road 6th ranked Caen (5-3) 73-69 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kyle Tresnak (209-92, college: Weber St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and American-Mali forward Ibrahim Djambo (208-92, college: Hofstra) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Etoile Angers players scored in double figures. Guard Gaetan Clerc (189-91) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and Nigerian-American power forward Cory Remekun (203-91, college: St.Louis, agency: Inception Sports) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Etoile Angers have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 7-0 record. Loser Caen dropped to the fifth place with three games lost.
