No shocking result in a game when second ranked Gipuzkoa (5-1) beat on the road 9th ranked Melilla Baloncesto (3-3) 68-63. The best player for the winners was American-Finnish forward Alex Murphy (206-93, college: Northeastern) who scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. American point guard Johnny Dee (183-92, college: San Diego) chipped in 13 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Lithuanian Osvaldas Matulionis (200-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who recorded 13 points and 5 assists and American power forward Amadou Sidibe (203-94, college: Fairfield, agency: Players Group) added 18 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Gipuzkoa have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Valladolid and Palencia. Melilla Baloncesto at the other side dropped to the seventh place with three games lost.
