Regular Season Round 6: Zilina - Prievidza 98-82

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Prievidza (3-1) on the court of fourth ranked Zilina on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Zilina 98-82. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Prievidza. It was a good game for guard Robert Rozanek (190-96) who led his team to a victory with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Bosnian forward Dejan Jeftic (198-89) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Zilina's coach Ivan Kurilla used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bosnian power forward Ibrahim Durmo (200-97) replied with 15 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Andrew Guillory (190-92, college: SE Louisiana) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Prievidza. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Zilina moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Prievidza. Zilina is looking forward to face league's leader Inter Bratislava at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prievidza will play against Nova Ves and is hoping to win this game.
