Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Ourense (3-3) was outscored at home by third ranked Carramimbre (5-1) 77-56. Carramimbre outrebounded Ourense 41-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American-Italian swingman Niksha Federico (201-95, college: Hawaii Pacific, agency: Two Points) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. American center Thomas Granado (208-88, college: Concordia Irvine, agency: Duran International) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian center Darko Balaban (211-89, agency: PEPI SPORT) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Canadian guard Connor Wood (193-93, college: Carleton) added 11 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Carramimbre keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Palencia and Delteco GBC. Ourense lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. Carramimbre's next round opponent will be Lleida Basquet (#6) at home where they are favorite. Ourense will play against Caceres Basket and hope to win that game.
