We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Indianapolis where fifth ranked Pacers (1-3) beat 4th placed Nets (1-3) 118-108 on Wednesday. Pacers made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Nets turnovers. Strangely Nets outrebounded Pacers 54-41 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Malcolm Brogdon (196-92, college: Virginia) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists. Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Pacers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Australian-American guard Kyrie Irving (190-92, college: Duke) who recorded 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pacers left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Nets.
