There was a minor upset in Charlotte where their close opponent Kings (0-5) were defeated by fifth ranked Hornets (2-3) 118-111 on Wednesday. Hornets looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward PJ Washington (206-98, college: Kentucky) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Terry Rozier (185-94, college: Louisville) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard DeAaron Fox (192-97, college: Kentucky) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and forward Harrison Barnes (203-92, college: UNC) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kings' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hornets moved-up to third place, which they share with Detroit P. Loser Kings still closes the standings with five games lost.
