There was a surprise result in Agrigento where tenth ranked 2B Control TR (3-2) won against higher ranked Fortitudo AGR (2-2) 70-66 on Wednesday. 2B Control TR had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when 2B Control TR made 7 blocks. American forward Kenny Goins (201-96, college: Michigan St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and his fellow American import LaMarshall Corbett (189-88, college: Angelo St.) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. 2B Control TR's coach Daniele Parente allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (199-85) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and guard Lorenzo Ambrosin (190-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) scored 16 points and 4 steals.
