Bulgarian undefeated leader Beroe delivered the fifth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Serbian Partizan (2-3) 100-60 in Beograd. The game without a history. Beroe led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Partizan's 30. Beroe forced 24 Partizan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Partizan's players. American center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists. Milica Indjic (-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Milica Mitrovic (175-93, college: Maine) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Beroe. They maintain first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Celje. Loser Partizan keeps the sixth position with three games lost. Beroe will meet at home bottom-ranked Orlovi (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Partizan will play against Montana 2003 (#3) and hope to secure a win.
