Regular Season Round 5: Thor Thorl - Haukar 89-80

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Haukar (3-2) against tenth ranked Thor Thorl (2-3) on Thursday night. Visiting Haukar was defeated by Thor Thorl in a tough game in Thorlakshofn 80-89. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Haukar. Haukar was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 49-34 second half run of Thor Thorl. They outrebounded Haukar 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Thor Thorl brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks.
