The game in Caceres was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Valencia (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Al-Qazeres (3-4). Valencia did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 57-40. The former international swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) contributed with 11 points and 5 assists for the winners. International forward Paula Ginzo (187-98) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Bozica Mujovic (178-96) added 7 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Al-Qazeres. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Valencia moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Al-Qazeres at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Valencia will play against Mann Filter (#10) in Zaragoza in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al-Qazeres will play on the road against Zamarat in Zamora and hopes to get back on the winning track.
