No shocking result in a game when top-ranked C'Chartres (8-0) outleveled at home 12th ranked Mulhouse (2-6) 73-54 on Saturday. C'Chartres looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DuVaughn Maxwell (201-91, college: Hampton) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and naturalized Mali center Moustapha Diarra (205-87, college: USF) who added 12 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four C'Chartres players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Guillaume Boucard (198-90, college: Carleton) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Central African power forward Johan Grebongo (204-94) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. C'Chartres have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 8-0 record. Mulhouse lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. C'Chartres will face Andrezieux (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mulhouse will play against Besancon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
