Regular Season Round 4: Rocamora - Racing 98-101

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers Rocamora (1-2) was edged at home by fifth ranked Racing (1-3) 101-98 on Saturday. Racing shot 66.7 percent from the field. Rocamora was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Josh Morris (203, college: Texas-PB) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!) and swingman Lisandro Fernandez (192-98) who added 19 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) during the contest. At the losing side guard Mauro Araujo (180-94) responded with 26 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American power forward RJ Freeman (205-95, college: Pikeville) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Racing and five Rocamora players scored in double figures. Racing maintains fifth position in Liga Argentina with 1-3 record. Loser Rocamora keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Racing will face league's second-placed Estudiantes O. in Olavarria in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rocamora will play at home against GELP and hope to win that game.
