Very predictable result in Puebla where third ranked Dorados (11-5) defeated 9th ranked Angeles (1-16) 89-83. 25 personal fouls committed by Angeles helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Dominican point guard Juan-Miguel Suero (198-93) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Jesus Gonzalez (195-86) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Four Dorados players scored in double figures. Puerto Rican Jeff Burgos answered with 24 points and 9 rebounds and Puerto Rican guard Luis Lopez (182-98, college: PR-Mayaguez, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Angeles. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dorados have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Dorados maintains third place with 11-5 record behind leader Capitanes, which they share with Aaguacateros. Angeles lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with 16 games lost. Dorados will have a break next round. Angeles will play again at home against Dorados (#3) and hope to win that game.
