Strangely Mataro Feimat outrebounded Tarragona 39-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Jaume Zanca (195-97) fired 18 points for the winners. Center Ferran Torres (201-88) chipped in 8 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized GMBn forward Omar Toure (199-94) produced 7 points and 13 rebounds and Dominican power forward Jose Cabrera (206-84) added 16 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Tarragona. They maintain first place in Group C-B with 6-0 record. Loser Mataro Feimat keeps the second position with two games lost. Tarragona will face Roser (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Mataro Feimat will play against Palma II (#11) and hope to win that game.
