Undefeated leader GDKO Bizkaia delivered the fifth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Leganes (3-2) 76-66 in Galdakao. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Leganes. GDKO Bizkaia forced 20 Leganes turnovers. The best player for the winners was Finnish guard Elina Koskimies (183-95, college: American) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Laura Arroyo (180-91) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four GDKO Bizkaia players scored in double figures. American-U.S. Virgin Islands guard Imani Tate (175-95, college: Albany) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American center Lady Comfort (188-86, college: Temple) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. GDKO Bizkaia (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group A with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Loser Leganes dropped to the fifth position with two games lost.
