We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Andorra (3-4) was edged at home by twelfth ranked UCAM Murcia (3-4) 89-86 on Saturday. UCAM Murcia made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Swiss-American guard Askia Booker (186-93, college: Colorado) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!). Romanian center Emanuel Cate (206-97) helped adding 4 points and 9 rebounds. Four UCAM Murcia players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Senegalese center Moussa Diagne (211-94, agency: Interperformances) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American guard Jeremy Senglin (188-95, college: Weber St.) scored 11 points and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. UCAM Murcia moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Andorra. UCAM Murcia will face Valencia Basket (#9) at home in the next round.
