Regular Season Round 7: STK Czarni - AZS PO 89-77

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked STK Czarni as it allowed them to take a leadership position. STK Czarni defeated 9th ranked AZS PO in Slupsk 89-77. STK Czarni dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to AZS PO's 34. Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) fired 14 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) chipped in 21 points. STK Czarni's coach Mantas Cesnauskis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86) produced 23 points and 5 assists and Adam Kaczmarzyk (198-88) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four AZS PO players scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. AZS PO lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Klodzko. AZS PO will play next round against Pruszkow trying to get back on the winning streak. STK Czarni will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked WKK Wroclaw on the road.
