Regular Season Round 14: Bambitious N. - Hiroshima D. 88-109

B2 League top team - Dragonflies (12-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Bambitious N. (3-11) in Nara 109-88. Dragonflies looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists. American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American Greg Mangano (208-89, college: Yale, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies maintains first position with 12-2 record. Loser Bambitious N. dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost. Dragonflies will have a break next round. Bambitious N. will play again at home against the league's leader Dragonflies (#1) and hope to win that game.
