Regular Season Round 6: Aris - Kolossos HH 85-87

A very interesting game took place in Thessaloniki. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 14th ranked Aris (1-5) to eighth ranked Kolossos HH (3-3) 87-85 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was a good game for American point guard Tyrone Brazelton (184-86, college: WKU, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who led his team to a victory with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American-Liberian guard Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: Connecticut) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Kolossos HH's coach Aris Likogiannis allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Jaylen Morris (196-95, college: Molloy) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Martynas Gecevicius (193-88) added 19 points in the effort for Aris. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kolossos HH moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Iraklis and Ifestos. Aris lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with five games lost. Kolossos HH will have a break next round. Aris will play again on the road against Kolossos HH (#8) in Rodou and hope to win that game.
