Regular Season Round 9: Nidaros Jets - Asker Aliens 81-74

Bottom-ranked Nidaros Jets managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of seven consecutive losses. This time they won against ninth-ranked Asker Aliens in Tromdheim 81-74. They outrebounded Asker Aliens 44-26 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nidaros Jets players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Asker Aliens' players. Guard Even Skjellaug (195-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and forward Jakob Baiden (194-93) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Nidaros Jets (2-7) moved-up to ninth place. Asker Aliens lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Nidaros Jets will play against league's second-placed Baerum Basket in Bekkestua in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Asker Aliens will have a break next round.
