An interesting game for Racing (4-2) which hosted in Luxembourg second-best Musel Pikes (3-3). Third ranked Racing managed to get a 5-point victory 70-65. Racing made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Forward Jeff Garrett (201-94, college: LSUS) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds and guard LaVone Holland II (190-94, college: NKU, agency: Court Side) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Musel Pikes. Racing have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 4-2 record having just two points less than leader Basket Esch. Musel Pikes at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Sparta and Larochette. Racing are looking forward to face T71 (#7) in Dudelange in the next round. Musel Pikes will play on the road against Contern in Luxembourg and is hoping to win this game.
