Regular Season Round 7: Le Mans - Monaco 73-66

An interesting game took place in Le Mans where higher ranked Monaco (4-2) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Le Mans (3-4) 73-66 on Saturday. It was a great evening for the former international guard Antoine Eito (186-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Nigerian-British guard Obi Emegano (189-93, college: ORU) helped adding 14 points and 4 assists. Four Le Mans players scored in double figures. At the losing side Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and American forward JJ OBrien (200-92, college: San Diego St.) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Monaco's coach Sasa Obradovic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Le Mans moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Chalons-Reims. Loser Monaco dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Le Mans will face higher ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
