Regular Season Round 7: Tur Bielsk Pdl. - LKS Lodz 81-98

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (4-2) against seventh ranked LKS Lodz (4-3) on Saturday night. Host Tur Bielsk Pdl. was defeated by LKS Lodz in Bielsk Podlaski 98-81. LKS Lodz shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Kacper Dominiak (186-98) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four LKS Lodz players scored in double figures. Forward Rafal Krol (198-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Tur Bielsk Pdl.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for LKS Lodz. They moved-up to sixth place in Group B. Tur Bielsk Pdl. at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. LKS Lodz's next round opponent will be Stal SW (#13) in Stalowa Wola and are hoping to win another game. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will play on the road against MKS Ochota (#11) in Warszawa and hope to win that game.
