The game in Lahti was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Honka (3-1) played at the court of 7th ranked Lahti (1-3). Honka managed to secure a 8-point victory 72-64. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-15. But Lahti won second period 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Honka forced 32 Lahti turnovers. Strangely Lahti outrebounded Honka 46-32 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by guard Lauri Kallio (188-3) who scored that evening 21 points and point guard Heikki Lamberg (184-1) supported him with 8 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Arttu Nykanen (185-2) did not help to save the game for Lahti. Forward Eemi Luukkonen (200-2) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Honka have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with HNMKY and MuKi. Lahti at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Honka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Espoo OBA.
