Regular Season Round 4: OBA - Pyrinto 104-71

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked OBA as it allowed them to take a leadership position. OBA smashed 5th ranked Pyrinto in Espoo 104-71. The game without a history. OBA led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pyrinto's 38. OBA forced 22 Pyrinto turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Niki Juntunen (188-1) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Guard Tidiane Bah (187) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five OBA players scored in double figures. Valtteri Taussi (189-1) replied with 25 points and 8 rebounds and center Gezim Bajrami (205-3) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Pyrinto. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. OBA have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Pyrinto at the other side keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Kataja. Pyrinto will play next round against strong MuKi trying to get back on the winning streak. OBA will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Honka. It will be extra interesting game as Honka is their local rival from Espoo.
