There was an upset when higher ranked Piombino (4-3) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Oleggio (2-4) 91-83 on Saturday. Oleggio forced 19 Piombino turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Filippo Testa (193-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Andrea Pilotti (195-80) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Guglielmo Sodero (191-93) responded with 21 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and center Giacomo Eliantonio (205-88) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Oleggio and five Piombino players scored in double figures. Oleggio moved-up to twelfth place in B. Loser Piombino dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Oleggio will face higher ranked Cecina (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
