Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Sturgeons' 50. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions forced 19 Sturgeons turnovers. American guard Aaron Jackson (190-86, college: Duquesne) nailed a double-double by scoring 32 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists for the winning side and the former international center Jinqiu Hu (208-97) accounted for 28 points and 13 rebounds. The former international Zhelin Wang (214-94) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds and American point guard Ty Lawson (180-87, college: UNC) added 22 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals respectively for Sturgeons in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sturgeons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play against Flying Leopards (#15) in Yingkou in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sturgeons will play on the road against Brave Dragons (#8) in Taiyuan to get more than just one victory in their record.
