Regular Season Round 3: CFBB - Angers 47-79

Another exciting game was played in Paris between Angers and CFBB where Angers (2-1) crushed CFBB (1-2) on the road with 32-point difference 79-47. Angers forced 21 CFBB turnovers and outrebounded them 40-22 including a 27-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Tiffany Clarke (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) who led her team to a victory with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Mali guard Touty Gandega (170-91) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Swingman Mariama Daramy (180-2) answered with 13 points and Spanish point guard Binta Drame-Lo (171-2) added 11 points and 5 steals in the effort for CFBB. Angers will play against Toulouse at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CFBB will play against Aulnoye (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
