Very expected game when 11th ranked Rethymno (1-5) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Lavrio (4-2) 86-78 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-78. Lavrio made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American guard Quenton DeCosey (196-93, college: Temple) scored 20 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Petros Geromichalos (203-94) chipped in 16 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) during the contest.
