There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Omnia Basket (3-4) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Juvi Cremona (3-4) 68-63 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Giovanni Veronesi (194-98, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. Center Lorenzo Petrosino (202-92) helped adding 13 points. Juvi Cremona's coach Pierluigi Brotto used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side power forward Mirko Gloria (203-95) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Alessandro Spatti (203-95) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four Omnia Basket players scored in double figures. Juvi Cremona moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Omnia Basket. Juvi Cremona will face higher ranked Vigevano (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
