Not a big story in a game in Golbey where 8th ranked GET Vosges (3-4) was defeated by fifth ranked Avignon/Pontet (5-3) 73-67 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin power forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Antoine Liorel (180-89) who added 10 points and 6 assists during the contest. Guard Matthieu Missonnier (184-97) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and DR Congolese swingman Shekinah Munanga (201-97) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. GET Vosges' coach Laurent Mathis let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Avignon/Pontet moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Saint Vallier and La Charite. Loser GET Vosges dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Avignon/Pontet will face Kaysersberg (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GET Vosges will play against SOPCC in Pont de Cheruy and hope to win that game.
