The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourteenth ranked Crema's (2-5) home victory over bottom-ranked Mestre (0-7) 69-54 on Sunday. They outrebounded Mestre 50-31 including 36 on the defensive glass. Mestre was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Crema will face higher ranked Vicenza (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Mestre will play against Soresina Gilbertina (#16) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
