Dafni Agioy's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they outplayed much higher ranked Esperides (2-2) 85-55. Dafni Agioy dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Esperides' 20. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Mikayla Cowling (188-96, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and the other American import center Kelsey Lang (197-95, college: Texas) who added 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks during the contest. Four Dafni Agioy players scored in double figures. At the losing side American center Akela Maize (196-96, college: NC State) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Lebanese point guard Rebecca Akl (169-92) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Esperides' coach Thomas Skrilos gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Dafni Agioy (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Esperides at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Dafni Agioy will play against Giannena (#10) on the road in the next round. Esperides will play against Panathinaikos (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
