Regular Season Round 7: L'Alfas - Aldaia 81-65

There was a small surprise in Alfas Del Pi where ninth ranked L'Alfas (1-4) won against 7th ranked Aldaia (1-3) 81-65 on Sunday. L'Alfas made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. L'Alfas outrebounded Aldaia 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Senegalese center Mouhamed Sow (209-1) fired 7 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Forward Alberto Artiles (192-97) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Four L'Alfas players scored in double figures. Javier Puerta (-98) produced 16 points and Josue Gonzlez (187-87) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. L'Alfas left bottom position moving up to eighth place in Group E-B, which they share with Cartagena. Loser Aldaia keeps the seventh position with three games lost. L'Alfas will face higher ranked Benidorm (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
